Elizabeth “Tizzie” Likovich

  • Tizzie is a founder and Partner of TAG Real Estate Ventures. Prior to TAG, she oversaw the development, construction, and acquisition activities of Aimco’s Central Division. Prior to coming to Aimco, Tizzie was Senior Director, Development at UDR, Inc. where she led development projects in five markets across the country. She has been instrumental in constructing 2,400 homes and 100,000 square feet of retail space around the United States, valued at more than $2.0B.

    Tizzie earned her AB cum laude from Harvard College where she was also a member of the Radcliffe Lightweight Crew Team. She earned her MBA with a focus in Real Estate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania while achieving academic distinction. Tizzie, and her husband, live in Denver with their five daughters.

Alexandra Ong

  • Alex is a founder and Partner at TAG Real Estate Ventures. She has over a dozen years of experience in multifamily real estate development overseeing over $845M of investment activity. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Development at Aimco where she led ground-up development projects within the central region of the US. She has held key roles on the development teams at top firms like UDR and Clark Realty Capital, and has experience as a planner in the Planning & Community Development Department of the City of Framingham in Massachusetts.

    Alex holds a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering, a minor in Physics and certificate in architectural engineering from Duke University.

Gavin McNiven

  • Gavin McNiven is a founder and Partner at TAG Real Estate Ventures. Prior to the formation of TAG Real Estate Ventures, Gavin spent nearly a decade working in development for Aimco (NYSE: AIV) where he led various redevelopment and ground up multi-family projects including Parc Mosaic in Boulder, CO and The Fremont Residences in Aurora, CO as well ground up hospitality developments including The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, CO. Prior to Aimco, Gavin worked for Imian Partners, a real estate investment and development firm based in New York City.

    Gavin holds his B.A in Economics from Bowdoin College and M.S in Real Estate from New York University. He resides in Denver, CO with his wife, son and their Great Pyrenees Hank.

    Completed in 2018, this $366 million 585-home development in Boston, MA, was delivered on an aggressive schedule with five phased deliveries. Despite its scale and the complexities of a development 1031 exchange, the project was completed on time and under budget.

    345 Harrison received the International CODA Awards 2019 Merit Award and the IES Section Award Honorable Mention.

  • The Residences at Pacific City

    This $350 million 515-home community, completed in 2019, is located in the highly desirable Huntington Beach market. The site presented unique challenges, including existing oil wells and soil liquefaction concerns, but was successfully designed and built to meet the high expectations of this premier location.

    Pacific City was recognized as the 2019 Multifamily Community of the Year by the PCBC Gold Nugget Awards.

  • View 34 Plaza

    A dynamic urban redevelopment in Manhattan, this project transformed public space and introduced 5,300 square feet of retail. Completed in 2018, it required careful entitlement coordination with the City of New York. The result is a vibrant public plaza that enhances the surrounding neighborhood.

  • Vitruvian West

    Delivered in 2018, this $59 million 383-home community in Addison, TX, was built on an aggressive schedule with nine phased deliveries—all completed on time. The project also included the construction of an amenity building and pool to serve future phases.

    Vitruvian West earned multiple industry accolades, including the SEBC Aurora Award for Best Multifamily Housing Community and NAHB’s Best Low Rise Apartment award.

  • Eldridge Townhomes

    This $35.1 million 58-home townhome community in Elmhurst, IL, was completed in 2020 under the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. With lumber procurement delays and the complexities of a tight site adjacent to occupied units, the project required careful coordination and execution.

  • The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club

    A premier hospitality project in Aurora, CO, The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club was completed in 2023. The 106-room hotel features a full restaurant and bar, a 6,000-square-foot ballroom, seven meeting rooms, and an exclusive faculty club. Despite material procurement challenges during the covid pandemic, the project was delivered successfully and recognized as ENR Mountain States Region’s Best Hospitality Project of 2023.

  • The Fremont Residences

    Completed in 2020, this $83.6 million 253-home community with 5,000 square feet of retail space in Aurora, CO, was developed and leased up during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the market uncertainty, the project was executed efficiently and remains a key residential offering in the area.

  • The Central Green

    A transformative three-acre redevelopment in Aurora, CO, Central Green was completed in 2021 to create a vibrant amenity and event space. Facing constant weather-related challenges, the project was successfully delivered and now serves as a key gathering place within the community.

  • Parc Mosaic

    An ambitious redevelopment in Boulder, CO, Parc Mosaic was completed in 2020 and includes 226 homes across an eight-acre site. The highly amenitized community features an indoor/outdoor lap pool, a three-story climbing wall, a 4,000-square-foot fitness center, and an underground parking garage with a dewatering treatment plant. The project overcame complex site remediation and weather challenges to earn LEED Gold certification and the Colorado NAIOP 2019 Multifamily Development of the Year award.

  • Fitzsimons Market

    Completed in 2023, Fitz Market is a 4,500-square-foot boutique grocer in Aurora, CO. Despite lead-time challenges of critical HVAC equipment, the project was successfully designed and built to serve the surrounding neighborhood with a high-quality retail experience.

  • Mullen Residences at the Highlands

    Founded more than 100 years ago, the Mullen Home community has served generations of Colorado seniors and remains an architectural gem in Denver's Highlands neighborhood. This redevelopment will transform the 8-acre campus through a combination of adaptive reuse, selective demolition, and new construction, creating a modern continuing care community with 166 independent living residences, 24 assisted living residences, and 24 memory care residences. The project requires complex coordination across entitlements, financing, environmental remediation, and preconstruction activities while preserving the character and legacy of the campus for future generations.
